January 2019: 57 Net New Listings and Portugal Review
In January 2019 we added a net 57 listings and kept reviewing Portugal, where 70 of 320 listings were still to check. The update gives the database statistics as of January 31, 2019.

Site reliability
Some visitors saw occasional "500 Internal server error" messages in January. We think we have found and fixed the cause. If the error appears for you, please contact us, because we may not have seen it ourselves.
Listing reviews
We added a net 57 listings in January while we continued to concentrate on reviewing every listing in Portugal. Of the 320 listings there, 70 were still to be checked at the end of the month.
Next we plan to start on Virginia, the last of the 50 U.S. states to be reviewed in this round. After Virginia we will move on to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Database statistics
- As of January 31, 2019: the database lists 24,157 swimming facilities in 200 countries and 13,259 cities.
- Pools: those facilities have 26,250 full-size, year-round pools, as we define those terms in our FAQ.
