We finished reviewing Idaho in February 2024, and this pool listings update also covers the start of Washington state and a net gain of six listings. We also feature two pools that will be used during the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Site activity
We spent almost two full weeks catching up on the edits, additions, deletions and reviews that users sent us. We completed our review of the listings in Idaho and reviewed eleven of the 218 listings in Washington state. A lot of work remains there.
The new site
Work on the new site was close to finished at the end of February. It could go online before the end of March, although we cannot promise a date. You will know the changeover has happened as soon as you open the site.
Pools of the Month
The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games were only 147 days away, so we chose two of its aquatic venues as our Pools of the Month. The Centre Aquatique Olympique in Saint-Denis and the Centre Aquatique Départemental Annette-Kellermann in La Courneuve will both be used during the Games. Neither was open to the public yet. Read about the two Paris 2024 pools.
ZAC de la Plaine Saulnier, Saint-DenisThe facility, which hosted the 2024 Paris Olympic Games opened to the public in early June, 2025.
