August 2019: New South Wales Finished and 53 Net New Listings
In August 2019 we finished reviewing New South Wales, moved on to Hesse, the Channel Islands, two English counties and Alberta, and added a net 53 listings and 68 pools.
We finished reviewing New South Wales, Australia, in August 2019 and added a net 53 listings. This pool listings update also covers reviews in Germany, the Channel Islands, England and Canada.
Listing reviews
We completed our review of the listings in New South Wales and moved on to the German state of Hesse (Hessen in German). We also finished the Channel Islands and the English counties of Bedfordshire and Berkshire, and ended the month with the Canadian province of Alberta.
We added 74 new listings and deleted 21, a net increase of 53 listings and 68 pools.
In September we plan to review Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, then return to the German states of Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. We also intend to update the About Us, FAQ and other supporting sections of the site, but we have not set a date.
Database statistics
- As of August 31, 2019: the database lists 24,627 swimming facilities in 204 countries and 13,525 cities.
- Pools: those facilities have 26,802 full-size, year-round pools, as we define those terms in our FAQ.
