April and May 2026: Texas Review Under Way and a 212th Country Added
This combined update for April and May 2026 covers a large batch of user suggestions, the first 152 of Texas's 445 listings and a 212th country, Tristan da Cunha. The site grew by a net 51 listings.
This April and May 2026 pool listings update combines two months in one edition. We handled a large batch of user suggestions, continued reviewing Texas and added a 212th country to the directory.
Site activity
We combined April and May into one update. Users had suggested many changes and additions, and we handled those first.
We also continued working on the listings in Texas and have gotten through Denton County, or the first 152 of the 445 listings in that state. We expect a few more months of work on Texas before we move on to Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
A 212th country
At a site user's suggestion, we added the pool on Tristan da Cunha, a remote island in the South Atlantic. It gave the directory a 212th country entry.
The Tristan da Cunha Community Swimming Pool fails to meet most of our usual listing criteria. We included it because of its remoteness, as it is probably the most isolated pool in the world.
