The Centre Aquatique de la Vaudoise Aréna is a new swimming center in Prilly, Switzerland, in the canton of Vaud next to Lausanne. It opened in September 2022 and stands out for how much the site offers beyond the water: ice rinks, table tennis and fencing share it with three pools.

Why the Centre Aquatique de la Vaudoise Aréna stands out
The swimming side of the facility has three pools. The main indoor pool measures 50 meters by 25 meters, and a second indoor pool is 25 meters long. The third pool, also 25 meters long, is a diving pool with a full complement of diving boards and platforms.
Away from the water, the facility has two indoor ice rinks and one outdoor ice rink. It also has a venue with 21 table tennis tables and space for 21 fencing pistes.
We chose it as our Pool of the Month for the combination: lap swimming, diving, skating, table tennis and fencing at a single site, in a center that had only just opened.
