The pools at the Tampines Swimming Complex
The two 50-meter pools are the main attraction for lap swimmers. The complex also has an indoor pool that is deep throughout, designed for water polo and for synchronized swimming, now known as artistic swimming. We could not find that pool's dimensions anywhere, so we describe it in the Notes section of the listing.
For young children there are an interactive pool and a wading pool, both only 0.3 m deep, and the complex also has a Jacuzzi pool. All of this is on the sixth floor of a community hub.
Visiting Singapore
The complex is only about 5 km (3.2 miles) from Singapore's Changi Airport, so it is within easy reach for a traveler on a long layover.
