The pools at Sportoase De Watermolen
The indoor 50-meter and 25-meter pools are kept at different water temperatures. That solves a common problem, because swimmers prefer different temperatures, and each can choose the pool that suits them.
The complex also has a separate spray park and a wave pool, which draw younger visitors away from the part of the building where adults prefer to swim.
A website that answers questions
The facility has a comprehensive website that provides the information we want before visiting a pool. It even includes a schedule showing when the 50-meter pool is laid out for long-course swimming. Few pools publish this, and it answers a question we are often asked.
The schedule is a Dutch-language PDF, so you may need to copy and paste it into an online translation tool. Places2Swim is not connected with the facilities we list and has no inside information about them, so check the facility's website for its current schedule.
