How we missed the Marana Aquatic & Recreation Center
Ordinarily, when we look for pools to add, we search the web and a map service for the name of a community or other location together with the words "swimming," "pool" and "25y | 25m | 50m," where "|" is search-engine shorthand for "or." We would never have found this facility that way.
The center's own website never says how long the pool is. Without that clue, a search engine cannot index the length and make it searchable.
How readers shape the directory
This is one of hundreds, maybe thousands, of listings on the site that would not be here without a reader's tip. We do as much as we can, but the site works best when you pitch in.
If you see something out of date on a listing, use the Suggest change option on that listing. If you know of a pool we have missed, you can add a pool.
