The infinity pool at the Gran Meliá Iguazú
Resort infinity pools tend to be narrow, usually only three or four meters wide. The pool at the Gran Meliá Iguazú is fully 15 meters wide, with a total surface area of 750 square meters. That makes it one of the largest swimmable hotel pools we have come across.
The pool has a staircase entry along one side. We prefer that to the staircase entries at the ends of the pool that most hotel pools have, because stairs at the ends interfere with flip turns.
