The facility reopened in 2009 after renovations, but only the basins were rehabilitated; the showers and dressing rooms were untouched. Lockers cost an extra SRD 2.50; most people leave their belongings near the pool. The water is clean, but the bottomof the 50m pool is greenish in spots. There are no longer lanes for lap swimmers, and it seems that the pool has lost business after the fee increase from SRD 5 to 7.50. In the evening, there were few swimmer, making it seem deserted.
