The pool has been very nicely renovated, but its quite unsuitable for swimming laps. It's a shame as this pool is open quite late, which is useful for anyone working in Darmstadt. The Nordbad (or adjoining Freibad in summer) is great for swimming laps,but is not open very late, especially in summer when swimming is in the Freibad.
