Washington-Liberty Aquatics Center

This is an outstanding facility. I arrived at opening on a Sunday afternoon. Initially I had a lane to myself, but someone else joined in the lane halfway through and we shared sides. It's a nice facility with a good pool temperature and adequate lockers rooms.

I started a pull set with paddles, but when the other person joined my lane, I was informed that when there are two people in a lane, paddles are not allowed. You can use paddles only when you have a lane to yourself. No big deal, I finished my pull set without paddles.

I'll be in the DC area all week and plan to go back. During the week, the pool is open to public only before and after school hours.

It's slightly on the warm side for lap swimming, but not by much. The locker rooms are nice and clean. It's a great facility!

It’s a great pool, with excellent water temperature consistency, which was a problem with the old pool.
