Facility Notes
Pool 1 is the longest pool in Florida and is located on a 15th floor plaza connecting three buildings developed together in a complex designed by Phillipe Starke.
Unlike most pools that have deep and shallow ends, the depth variation in this pool is side-to-side so there's a 65m long, 3½f deep side and a 65m, 4½f deep side. Hours are sunrise to sundown.

Pool 2 is on the 57th floor of the hotel.
Pool 1 is heated to 76º - 78ºF (24º - 26ºC) in winter; 78º - 82ºF (26º - 28ºC) in fall and spring. No summer temperature is reported for the pool as outdoor swimming pool temperatures are largely uncontrollable in the tropical sun. Ninety degree water temperatures would not be unlikely in Miami's brutal summers.

An extraordinary hotel pool in Miami. No lane markings and small steps at one end but there was no one there the nights I swam in December. Outdoors and surrounded by apartments and hotels this long, wonderful pool has a certain grandness of scale. They also have a great fitness facility and a an adjacent, big, warm spa.
