Vientiane Swimming Pool

The cleanliness of the pool and male change room was just OK. Be careful of leaving possessions while swimming, as bag snatchers have been known to operate, taking advantage of the two open gates at either side of main entrance. Don't take excess cash, passports, or expensive items. Easily walked to from the riverside tourist area.

Facilities clean, well maintained, no fuss service, chlorinated, and clear. We had the pool to ourselves at opening time and it was still empty when we left 1-½ hours later. When we returned that afternoon in the heat of the daywe shared the pool with a total of 8 people.
