Valley Pool

This is a nice, outdoor, saltwater pool in the Fortitude Valley neighborhood of Brisbane. Although the pool is 50m in length, it appears that most of the time, about half of the pool is sectioned off into 25m lanes (with the rest remaining available as 50m lanes). Lane availability can be found on their website.

The water was clean, heated to a comfortable temperature, and generally well maintained.

Although lanes were designated as slow/medium/fast, not all the swimmers were abiding by these speeds; some swimmers appeared to be purposely swimming in the center of the lane to prevent anyone else from entering.

Overall, it's a nice pool and a great place to do laps, if it isn’t too busy.

This is a good training pool as opposed to a recreational pool. Mostly lap swimming going on here. Squads from elite to beginners, morning, lunch, and evening. Contact the pool for squad times. I recommend it as a place to punch out some laps.
