I am surprised that this pool is so swimmer-unfriendly for an athletics-heavy university. The hours for the 50m pool are very limited; it opens for only two hours per day at noon (get most of your UV? sure!). They open the diving well for lap swimming for many more hours, but it's much warmer than the competition pool. It's usually set up for only four lanes for lap swimming + the diving well area for open swim. There are no backstroke flags. The facility closes at 6 PM. The only thing I like is the water quality; it's beautiful water and less irritating to my eyes.
There is a hot tub, but I have never been to a hot tub that's so mild. It feels like the pool temperature at an LA Fitness, seriously. That seems to be a long-standing issue that no one tries to fix. The women's locker room closes from 5:15 to 5:45 PM for cleaning every day, so you really need to plan your shower and changing. The locker room is outdated, the same as are the shower heads.
