Wellenbad in German translates to wave pool in English, and that's what this pool is. If you click on the word Wellenbad on the top-line menu, on the right side of the page that comes up, you'll find the pool's hours of operation (Öffnungszeit) followed by the schedule of when the wave machine operates (Wellenbetrieb). During the times noted with a single asterisk (*) the wave generator operates every 30 minutes; during the times noted with a double asterisk (**) the generator operates once every hour. The page does not say how long the wave generation lasts. Also, it appears that the shallow end of the pool may have an adjustable depth that is adjusted to almost zero-depth during the wave operation. So, to make a long story short, swimmers may wish to avoid the pool entirely during wave generator hours.

There is also a 50m, 8 lane, outdoor, seasonal pool at this location.
