Facility Notes
The hotel is a repurposing of Eero Saarinen’s, classic, gull-wing, landmark 1962 TWA Flight Center at JFK Airport. When it opened it looked like something out of the space age, and it still does!
The pool is sunk into the roof of the building. It's not exactly rectangular, but the curve is probably barely noticeable. According to the hotel's website, the water in the pool recirculates every 30 minutes v. the standard six hours!
The hotel's website is advertising the pool as a "Rooftop Pool-cuzzi" heated to 95ºF in winter. It doesn't say how warm or cool they keep it in summer.
