In summer the roof opens in good weather. There are only two lanes, one in each direction; swim up the pool in one lane, duck under the rope, and swim back in the adjacent lane.
A typical Japanese public pool, it is extremely clean, the locker roomsare comfortable, and the lifeguards are zealous.
It is cleared for 5 minutes every hour; swimming underwater is not allowed; swim caps are required. The pool is well used and it is sometimes difficult to train without disturbing others.
