A friendly place, although if you go when there's a water aerobics class, little space is left for lap swimming (1 or 2 lanes). And when one of the teams or classes is arriving/leaving, there's little room to move in the locker areas!

Even when classes are going on, there are always eight lanes in the deep end, and three or four shorter ones in the shallow end. A movable bulkhead makes it possible for everyone to get what they want out of the pool.
