The facility is open every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day. Opening hours can be found on its website's "Contact Us" page. The pool is used by local schools at certain times of the year, however, there are usually notices telling when the pool will be occupied and there are usually at least two lanes for lap swimming during this time. Because the facility also has learn to swim and leisure pools the 25m pool is mainly used by lap swimmers.
