I've swum at all the hotel pools in Makati, and the Peninsula is my second favorite; only the Shangri-la is nicer. The Peninsula is best value by far. I've never noticed any dirt, either. The first review doesn't capture how nice a pool this is. It's just plain classy.

Typical hotel pool, less than 25 yards, but with deep end. Not too clean, rectangular shape, next to the gym, better for outside-pool-lounging with great service.
