The Leisure Centre, Keighley

The deepest part of the pool is 5 feet, 5 inches, so there's no diving. The water temperature varies from very warm to cool. During "swim for all" sessions, it's difficult to swim lengths, you have to swim breadths. If you want to swim lengths then check the timetable for Adult Only, Ladies Only, and Men Only times. During school term time, the swim for all during weekdays is usually quiet but can get very full of children in the school holidays.

Definitely not a pool for swimming; it is a circular play pool and is adequate but no more. I can stand comfortably in the deepest parts of the pool, so to call it a swimming pool is a misnomer.

The kids love the slide and the swimming lessons have been great for them. The downside is they sometimes play really loud rave music through the tannoys at 'swim for all' time, and the small learners pool is often closed for lack of staff.
