Facility Notes

Sea temperatures in The Entrance range from a low of 16º - 19ºC (61º - 66ºF) in winter, to 21º - 25ºC (71º - 77ºF) in summer.

There is a waist deep 22m x 9m pool and a toddler/infant wading pool with a gentle water shower feature, a portion of which is covered by shade sails. The pools are open all year and admission is free. A lifeguard is on duty during summer months and an onsite kiosk provides light refreshments.

The pools overlook the ocean and are well maintained; amenities are clean and tidy and include showers. It’s great for dawn or early morning laps… then one can sit back and enjoy the banter of the friendly locals. Suits all ages and fitness levels,two lanes are sectioned off in the mornings for circuit lap swimmers. There is a friendly amateur swim club always ready to welcome new recruits.
