The Edge - University of Leeds Sports Centre

I swam here today and it was a really enjoyable swim. Lovely, spacious, clean, mixed changing rooms with some separate rooms for single sex changing. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would use again.

A lovely pool to train in: good temperature, clean, excellent facilities. Usually pretty well disciplined swimmers, slow, medium, and fast lanes, although there's still a smattering of head-up breaststrokers attempting to infiltrate every lane. I'm sure a lifeguard would get them to move, if asked. My only complaints are that the lanes are a narrow, so it's not easy to pass, if there are too many slow people in your lane, and that every now and then they run intensive swim lesson weeks, which take out four lanes for a good few hours in the mornings - it pays to keep an eye on the website!

Quality, clean facility - a low chlorine 25m x 17.5m pool, usual depth 1.2m to 2.0m (though can be varied). I swim here most days a week as there is a high availability of 25m lane swimming (occasionally switched to widths during events). Slow, medium, and fast lanes are usually available.
