The Broadmoor Resort

I swam here twice in mid/late-April, 2025. It was about 30ºF (-1ºC) and there were no other swimmers at 6:30 AM. I did not see any other lap swimmers, except for one just after me. There was a good bit of debris (mostly leaves) in the pool which I had not encountered previously. That may have been a result of a recent snowstorm (a roof partially overhangs the pool). On the following afternoon the pool was being vacuumed but I was disappointed both mornings.

I was there two days in a row on a weekend at about 6:30 AM and there was one other swimmer. My observation was that in the late afternoon the lap pool is less likely to be occupied. There is also an outdoor hot tub.

It was about 30ºF (-1ºC) when I swam so I had the experience of having one shoulder out in the air and the rest of me warm. I am not sure whether there is a culture of sharing a lane if they are both occupied. The lanes aren't as wide as some competition pools (or my local LA Fitness) but I think they are shareable.

In addition to the outdoor pool described above, there is also an indoor pool that is not configured for lap swimming but would do if it was too cold outside. There were parents with small children in the indoor pool even at 6:30 -7:00 AM.

The facility is clean and provides towels. The lockers are the type you program with a code, so you don't need a lock. There is a fitness facility that is a part of the area.
