When the boom is in, eight lanes are reserved for schools and four more 'in case the Harlequins rugby team want it'. Of what’s left, two are set for “slow” and two for “fast”. The parking is inadequate.

It’s generally quiet, always two or three lanes available, superb water quality. When the boom is in, the tank for public use is usually set at a 2m uniform depth. The changing rooms feel cold until you get used to them. If a restaurant, I’d award two Michelinstars “excellent, worth a detour.
