This facility is the renovated/rebuilt pool complex formerly called the Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre / Inglewood Aquatic Centre. It reopened as Sterling Leisure - Inglewood in late August, 2024. At the time of opening is was the largest public lap pool in the Southern Hemisphere.

The 50m section of the pool has two, five-lane wide "submersible swim walls" that can be used to split the 50m lanes into 25m lanes.

The pool is open 107 hours per week in summer and 99.5 hours per week in winter, according to the plans on the city's website.
