Stephen P. Hempstead High School Swimming Pool

Single-swim admission is not available to the general public.

Information about the new pool's layout was hard to come by: We're sure that it's 121-feet long by 75-feet wide and that it has 8 lanes on the long axis, but we're not sure how many lanes can be accommodated across its 75-foot width.

This is a new pool for the high school that replaced an older, smaller one in January, 2020. The City of Dubuque Recreation Dept. used to have very limited public access sessions at the old pool, but there's nothing about indoor aquatics on its website in February, 2020, so we're assuming that the program has not been resumed with the new facility.
