The pool is OK for children or just splashing about in, but there's not enough space for serious swimming.

I can do serious swimming there; it is a fantastic pool.

I like to take the children to Stamford Leisure Pool, as it has a flume and a wave machine. It also has a beach, water fountain and a ‘bit that bubbles!’ It is usually very warm and busy and the children have a fantastic time, however it isn’t really a place for a serious swimmer.

It’s a 'leisure' pool! There are plenty of bubbles, waves, and fun and games, but not enough open pool space to swim!
