From the pool's web page: "For over 100 years, the historic Stadtbad (public baths) has delighted the people of Halle with its unique charm. Designed by city architect Wilhelm Jost, the Stadtbad was built between 1913 and 1915 and opened in 1916. Art Nouveau decorations still adorn the tiles and architectural ceramics inside. The building's unique tower has long been considered the city's beacon. Since 1995, the facade of the listed building, with its sculptures and inscriptions, has been restored to its former glory. Starting in June 2025, the entire Stadtbad will undergo a comprehensive renovation to do justice to its unique character and ensure its preservation for future generations."
