The pool opened in September, 2000.

The pool is sometimes set for long course lengths (50 metres), and sometimes for short course (25 metres). We could not find a schedule of the hours for each on the facility's website, so you'll need to call ahead, if you have a preference for one over the other.

In every respect, fantastic... Spacious changing facilities ... the clearest, cleanest water I have ever swum in in a UK pool, a temperature so perfect I didn't even notice the water ... no waves, no current. ... Recommended without reservations.
