Swim caps mandatory, but they were kind enough to loan one to me, which I forgot to wear until I was half done (no one said anything). Lane swimming was possible, but a bit chaotic (like southern Italian driving).I had to change lanes a few times, but I got a good workout. Heavy on the chlorine; locker room isn't much, but a few lockers (bring your own lock).
