This is not a dangerous section of the city at all, just a narrow street, unlike the usual broad boulevards. Each night I left there were tons of passers-by (including women) and taxis available making me feel quite safe. Masters practice is 9:30 - 11 PM Monday through Friday. The team was very welcoming. The water is warm; the lane lines, just ropes. Large towel, soap, and shampoo for three pesos. Has full weights, cardio machines, spinning classes, too.
