Splash - La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center

There are two outdoor lap pools at this aquatic center, but only the 25y one is available to the public. The pool is clean, well maintained, and generally pretty empty during the daytime. Day passes cost $4, but there’s a variety of options for cheaper tickets if you swim here regularly.

Parking is free and readily available. The showers/locker rooms are showing their age and could be a little cleaner. Also, lockers are available for purchase only during the summer, when the main part of the aquatic center is open. Most people just keep their bags and personal items on the pool deck. Overall, it is a nice place to swim if you’re in the area.

I swim here on a regular basis, year-round. The 50m pool is open during summer months from 11 AM to 3 PM most weekdays. It is also occasionally available when the 25yd pool is having maintenance.

This pool is fantastic. The water is crystal clear and warm. The staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend this pool to anyone.

I've gone during all seasons and at all hours and the 50m pool has never been available. The 25y pool is mostly shallow and deck-level (no gutters), making it difficult to see where the water ends and the deck begins when swimming backstroke. On the positive side, it was the only pool open in the area this past winter and the facility is clean, the staff friendly.
