Facility Notes
Summertime visitors to Banbury may be more interested in visiting the outdoor, seasonal, 50m, 8 lane, heated, 25.9ºC (78.6ºF) lido at the Woodgreen Leisure Centre, less than a mile away on the other (west) side of central Banbury, HERE.
Regarding the Woodgreen facility, a regular contributor to this website writes: "This is a real swimmer's pool: 50m, split into three lanes (fast, medium, and slow). Each lane is double width leaving more than enough space to overtake. A lovely 25.9ºC. Wonderfully smooth to swim in; it feels like you just glide through the water - aided by wave suppression barriers, non wave reflecting walls, and depth. Changing facilities are fresh and clean. Cost £4.05/swim."
