South Orange Family YMCA

The reception staff at this YMCA is super friendly and helpful. The pool is older, water slightly opaque, and shallow for most of its length. Swim caps are not required. It's located in a high-ceiling brown-colored space. People (mainly older) were in every lane and being replaced by new swimmers during a lunchtime swim midweek in June. A good steady swim is possible here.

The locker room barely cuts it. Bring your own lock.
