I am a regular user of this facility. Overall, it is clean and bright. There are some kickboards, paddles, fins, etc. available to use. The staff is friendly. There are two, separate pools: a warm pool for lessons and aquacise activities, and a cooler pool for the swim team and adult laps.
Make sure to check the online schedule as there is not much lap swimming available after work (4ish to 7ish) due to swim team practices. But, given the long hours of the facility on weekdays, if you are flexible, you can almost always get a half-lane. There are no reservations, - it is first come, first served. It would be rare for anyone to offer to circle swim and there are no rules posted about lane etiquette when people are waiting. The lifeguards are not going to even give suggestions. On weekend mornings, there can be quite a lot of lessons and the swim team practices then, and the pool closes by 3:45 PM on Sundays.
The gym has plenty of equipment, any you almost never need to wait for a treadmill, elliptical or bike.
