The pool has two lanes open for lap swimming, like many of the other YMCAs in Charlotte, but the average swimmers are kids with oblivious parents, who have no understanding of why the lanes are there. While doing laps, kids come into the lanes and interrupt us, as the parents looked on cluelessly.
