When I visited, there were six lanes devoted to laps, two of which were reserved for a club or lessons. Kids were also being taught in the 25m pools at the northern end of the complex. There was an average of six swimmers in each lane which made it easy to have a workout. The lane ropes were not anti-wave and there are no flags for the backstrokers, but there was a bit of string if you look carefully. The pool temperature was 28ºC (82ºF), which made training at any pace uncomfortable. I had to get out to cool off frequently. There is a drinking fountain poolside, so no need to take a bottle.
The changing rooms are shabby, but this is made up for by the high standard of water clarity in the pool. There were lockers that took a $5HK coin and also some took a personal padlock. Cash is accepted by the friendly staff - they'll change your notes and give you coins to pop in the turnstyle.
It’s a great value facility.
