This is a small, clean, neighborhood facility located about 20 minutes from the center of Leipzig via tram (Line 12).
The pool is small: Two lanes were reserved for water walking, one lane for general recreation, and two lanes for lap swimmers. It was very crowded with eight to ten swimmers per lap lane and, while one lane is designated "fast", there were swimmers of all abilities, making it impossible to do an interval workout and very difficult just to crank out some yardage. The situation improved somewhat as some swimmers left as we approached closing time. Try to go at an "off" time for less crowding.
There are clean but simple lockers, showers, etc. Bring a €1 coin for the lockers (returned).
In the summer, many of Leipzig's indoor lap pools close to allow for opening a summer network of outdoor pools.
