Summertime visitors to Kreuzberg will be interested to know about the outdoor, seasonal, swimming pools at the nearby Sommerbad Kreuzberg with its two 50m pools (one 6 lanes, the othe 8) and a large, leisure pool.

This pool is in a semi-temporary construction which was briefly open in 2021, but was then closed to the public again due to construction faults in the changing rooms. The pool is situated on the same grounds as the outdoor swimming pool at Prinzenstraße (see note, below) and was accessible from those grounds during the summer, but now the construction faults are fixed, this pool is open again as a stand-alone facility since November 2023.
