Schwimmhalle Himmelsthür is not good for serious swimmers: Half the pool is permanently reserved for clubs. There are no lanes set aside for lap swimmersany time. The public section is small and fills up easily. Lap swimming is not encouraged, as most patrons are elderly and prefer to swim in groups chatting to each other. The showers are quite cool. There are no public hairdryers.
