The changing village is through the double doors on the left beyond the reception desk. The lockers take a returnable £1 coin.
The 25-metre pool is part of a bigger effort of flumes and the like. The generally faded condition makes it reminiscent of a travelling fair.
Literally a quiet backwater, the swimming pool seems to have four lanes at all times. Even when a swim class was using three of the lanes, there was plenty of space for me to do my lengths. After that (6 PM on Thursday) it was depressingly quiet.
The communal showers don’t provide soap.
