Roosevelt Aquatic Center

I came back to swim here again, after my last visit in 2022. I swam at 5 PM. It wasn't crowded at all, and I had a lane by myself. There were only three lanes set up for lap swimming; the other lanes were roped off for lessons and public swimming but not crowded. The pool is still on the warm side, but maybe it's me because I'm used to swimming outdoors year-round, and this is indoors. Good bathrooms and locker room areas.

This pool is very warm, too warm in my opinion, around 86º - 88º. I started in lane 3, but in the middle of the swim, they turned on a pump pumping warm water into the pool. I moved to lane 1 to get away from it. Otherwise, it's a nice, clean pool that was not busy at 6:45 AM. It's open from 6 to 8 AM, before school starts. You have to buy your pass from the DC Department of Parks and Recreation website.
