I visited Paraburdoo swimming pool in Nov 2003. The pool was smashing, but I was surprised that hardly any locals seemed to use it. It was empty most days and there were no sun umbrellas or comfortable sun beds for visitors to lie on.I was amazed at the number of beautiful white birds flying around and the large grasshopper type insects.
