Portlethen Swimming Pool and Academy Sports Facilities

This is where I do my annual 5,000m charity swim. It's a good, deck level pool with a nice atmosphere. It not a big building and you feel as if you are in someone's private pool; the atypical décor enhances that sensation.
Lunchtime sessions are the best for the lap swimmer, never too busy. The pool can get very busy at the week ends.
There is hardly any spectator gallery and the car park is not massive.
A good pool, well worth a visit.
