Piscina Sterlino

The facility is a bit shabby and, during the winter at least, the 50m pool is covered, so it's somewhat dark. During certain hours, only the 25m pool is open; it is more pleasant, as it has the more traditional high window on one side. The facility is about a 20-minute walk from the edge of the outer circle of town.

This pool is set off the road, behind a gate with Olympic rings. The pool (indoor) itself is satisfactory, and although the dressing room are a bit dilapidated, we were made to feel very welcome. The pool had lanes, but the lanes weren't marked by speed - meaning a mix of slow and not-slow swimming together. Caps are required. The pool can be reached by bus 13 or 38, both of which go through the stunning old city.
