Facility Notes
October, 2021. Apparently still closed. Nothing new to report.
June, 2024. We thought if we waited a little longer, maybe things would change. Apparently not. Still closed. We'll check again in a year.
June, 2022. No change. What was Einstein's definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result?
With the Covid-19 pandemic raging on, June, 2020, wasn't a very good time to check anything, so we waited until September, but it appears the pool is still closed...
When we checked again in early December, there was no change. Still closed. We'll check again in March, 2019.
September, 2020 - Still closed.
Checked again in March, no sign of any change. We'll check again in May.
When we reviewed this listing in early October, 2018, the town's website indicated that the pool "is closed to the public" without giving any reason or indication of when it might reopen.
Checked again in September - no apparent change - we'll check again in June, 2020, and delete the listing then, if there's no change in status.
There is also a 50m x 21m, 8 lane, outdoor pool at this location. There's also what appears to be a 25m x 12m, outdoor pool, but the Satellite View photograph does not show lanes; it may have been under cover at the time of the photo or it may be a shallow, children's pool.
Checked again in May, no sign of any change. We'll check again in September.
December, 2020. It appears that the city put out a request for bids for roof repairs for the indoor pool and a contract was let in November. Still, there's no word on when the pool might be able to reopen. We'll keep checking.
