Facility Notes
A swim cap and shower shoes are required. Shoe covers are supplied if necessary.
The pool is easily and inexpensively reachable by commuter train from Stazione Santa Maria Novella; go one stop to Campo di Marte.
In May, 2023, we received a note indicating that reservations were required for evening lap swim and recommended for daytime. We don't know whether this still applies. [November, 2024]

Swim caps are required. Shoe removal is required prior to entering the dressing room (or be prepared for a rebuke). There are backstroke flags at one end, plastic biconcave disks axially perforated overhead where you would expect to see flags at the other.

The indoor pool was good, very clean, clear, and a good temperature for training. Backstroke flags were in place when I swam here. There were lots of lap swimmers and adherence to speed/lane etiquette was good. If you bring your own lock it must be a narrow hasp, not the more typical Master-lock dimension.
